We aren't announcing any litters right now. Families on our waitlist are the first we contact when puppies are planned.

Every puppy we place goes home with a bill of sale stating whether it is placed for show or as a family pet.

Our Promise

Three commitments that shape every decision we make.

I.

The Old American Type

We strive to produce the big-boned Akita with a big, bear-like head — the old-style American Akita, bred to a type that is increasingly hard to find. Only a few dogs make up our program, and they must be of top quality.

II.

Temperament Above All

We breed for conformation, but most of all temperament. Every puppy is temperament tested and raised in a family environment, born in our home and raised around our children. A proud Akita — and a gentle giant with its owners.

III.

Lifetime Commitment

Once you know the heart and loyalty of an Akita, there is no other dog. It is best to start training an Akita puppy young — your puppy will look to you for encouragement and will want to make you happy. We stay with you for the life of your dog.

Begin

An Akita puppy begins with a conversation.

We encourage every family to do their research and make sure an Akita is right for them. When it is, we answer every inquiry personally — usually within 48 hours.
