Diablo had a great temperament and knew when to strut his stuff and put his swagger on. He was proud like an Akita should be, but he was also the gentle giant Akitas are known to be with their owners. He loved to meet people, and once he saw they were no threat to his owners, he let children hang all over him and loved to play and have his picture taken with them. Many Akita puppies are born dark and turn light fawn or red as they grow — Diablo stayed black.
